A recent poll conducted by “Anime! Anime!” asked its readers which video games they would like to see anime adaptations for. The survey received a total of 1609 responses, with about 35% being male and 60% female.
The survey was conducted between December 3 – 11, and 55% of the respondents were 19 years old or younger, while around 25% were in their 20s.
When it comes to the results, Splatoon took the number one spot, followed by Xenoblade Chronicles in second place, and The Legend of Zelda in third; check out the top 10 list below:

- The Legend of Zelda
- Undertale
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses
- Animal Crossing
- Kingdom Hearts
- Minecraft
- Jack Jeanne
- Buddy Mission Bond
It will be interesting to see if any of these titles make the jump to a full anime adaptation in the future, even if some of them already have a manga series or a small anime sideshow. What would you change in the list?
