WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg will hold his annual State of the Word address on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022. This is an annual update on the progress across the project and a look ahead to the following year.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the event pivoted from occurring during WordCamp US to a single event. Like State of the Word 2021, this year’s event will be live-streamed from Automattic’s offices in New York City.
We anticipate seeing Matt share demos of new features in WordPress 6.1, and a look ahead to WordPress’ 20th anniversary.
